Rating for Guns N' Roses album 5 Introduction Named in the book "1001 Albums You Must Hear Before You Die", "Appetite for Destruction" as a whole is heavier than a lot of other albums coming from the LA scene at the time. It was dirty and gritty at a time when the polished, shiny sound of glam ruled, making it stand out from the crowd. While it is not as dated as most album from the 80s, you know what decade it is from, but that is okay because is definitely one of the best albums to come out of that eras.
